Joy and I attended D23 in August, and Disney blew our socks off with announcements.
There were so many announcements that we will need to share three blog posts, one for Walt Disney World, one for Disneyland, and one for Disney Cruise line, to cover all the fantastic announcements.
These are the updates announced coming to Walt Disney World in the future:
Magic Kingdom expansion: This is the largest expansion in Magic Kingdom’s history.
- Expansion in Frontierland for Pixar Animation Studios’ “Cars.” themed area.
- A Villain’s Land- This land will be based on your favorite charters that you love to loathe.
- Monster’s Inc Land
New Nighttime Parade—In 2025, Magic Kingdom will premiere a brand new nighttime spectacular on Main Street, U.S.A.
Then, coming to Epcot –
Reimagined Test Track
Coming to Animal Kingdom –
Tropical America’s two new attractions, one themed on Indiana Jones and another based on Encanto.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether – Join Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde next winter in a new show at the Tree of Life Theater.
Hollywood Studios:
New Missions coming to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run — Blast off with Mando and Grogu when a new adventure featuring this duo arrives in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Finally –
Two New Lounge Spaces — Coming in 2025, a new Pirates Lounge and Spaceship Earth lounge will open in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, respectively.
