I recently went on a four generation girls cruise. My daughter, my mother, my granddaughter, and I sailed on a 7-Night Eastern Caribbean with a Star Wars Day At Sea Cruise on Disney Fantasy.
Itinerary
Our itinerary for this sailing was a round trip from Port Canaveral, two days at sea, a stop at Philipsburg, St. Maarten, a stop at St. Thomas, USVI, a day at sea, and a stop at Castaway Cay.
My mother and granddaughter were both so excited to get to go back on for their second Disney Cruise. Of course my daughter and I are always excited to get back on a Disney ship!
The Extra Touch!
Our stateroom attendant, Carol, was phenomenal. We came back to the room one day to find that she had put Frozen Anna & Elsa sheets on my granddaughter’s bed. The blanket/towel animals she made for us were great. She used my eyeglasses a couple of times and we all laughed at how funny it looked.
Star Wars Day at Sea
Star Wars Day At Sea was such a fun time! Han Solo in carbonite was displayed in the lobby for the duration of the cruise. Star Wars music played throughout the ship. We spent most of our day on deck 11 laying by the pools. The stage was decorated for Star Wars and Star Wars themed shows/movies played on Funnel Vision (the gigantic movie screen by the pools).
Stormtroopers walked around the ship looking for Rey. Rey hid from the Stormtroopers behind our loungers for a quick minute. Guests were fully decked out in Star Wars clothing and costumes. Some went all out and looked like actual characters. There was a Star Wars themed menu at dinner. My daughter and I went to the lobby after dinner and got to see Jawas, Stormtroopers, Imperial Officers, Boba Fett, and a few others. So much fun was had by all of the Star Wars fans onboard!
When it comes to cruising with multiple generations Disney sure does know how to have something for every age!
