Fall can be such a fun time at the Disneyland Resort!

I recently visited for a day during the D23 Expo weekend (check out my blog at day 1 of D23) and there were so many fun experiences and yummy treats!

Spooky Treats

There is a lot of special food to enjoy so if you love to try all the new Disney treats, then Fall is a great time to do that!

Check out this spooky Halloween Cake at French Market Restaurant featuring Purple-colored vanilla sponge, raspberry mousse, fresh raspberries, and candied cocoa nibs.

And there are too many more to name with drinks and treats alike. You’ll find just about anything to fit your appetite!

Decorations for the Season

The parks are decorated to the nines with Oogie Boogie welcoming you to California Adventure and Mickey and Friends friendly pumpkin faces at the Disneyland entrance.

Walking onto Main Street is so fun with the big Mickey pumpkin saying hi!

Haunted Mansion

At the Haunted Mansion, Sandy Claws has taken over! The ride gets a complete Nightmare Before Christmas overlay. It really completely changes the whole ride and is so cool! This overlay is there for both Fall and Holiday season to enjoy. And every year they have a new gingerbread centerpiece in the ballroom scene that is always really fun to see! This year’s gingerbread house features Lock, Shock, and Barrel having some fun.

Zocalo

Disneyland also has Zocalo Park celebrating Dia de los Muertos.

California Adventure

Over at California Adventure the Headless Horseman beckons you in.

Cars Land

Make your way to Cars Land and enjoy some incredible decorations! From Mater’s Graveyard Jamboree to the sugar skull car at Ramon’s, Cars Land has been completely taken over by the Halloween spirit.

Halloween Spirit

One of my favorite things about Fall are the fun costumes the characters wear. In 2022, Mickey and friends have brand new, homemade costumes! Isn’t Mickey the cutest??

And Goofy looks awfully cute himself in his tree costume.

Oogie Boogie Bash

Disneyland Resort also offers the Oogie Boogie Bash each year for those who enjoy an after hours party. It does sell out fast so make sure you get your tickets right when it opens for sale!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this little tour of Disneyland Resort in the Fall and we at Embrace the Journey travel would love to help you plan your next Disneyland adventure!
