Paris, France – City of Love and many more things like history, amazing food, culture, arts, museums, and incredible shopping. I got to visit Paris recently for a short post-cruise 2-night stay. The city is incredible, any visitor could easily spend an entire week exploring the city.
The Louvre
I am not even sure how to describe this incredible place. You could easily spend an entire day here. The Louvre is filled with so much history. We were on a short trip, so I booked a guided 3-hour tour. For more information on the tour we took, click here.
Of course, we got to see the Mona Lisa, which was fun because of her fame, but in the same room, there was a jaw-dropping HUGE painting, The Wedding Feast at Cana, and it took my breath away.

You queue to wait in line to see the Mona Lisa. While you are in the queue, if you turn around, across from the Mona Lisa you see The Wedding Feast at Cana painting hanging on the wall.
This is an official link for more information on Louvre. I highly suggest a skip-the-line guided tour. The guided tours provide an audio-guided tour to explore the Louvre and all its rich history.
A Little history on the Louvre
The Louvre or the Louvre Museum is the world’s second largest museum and a historic monument in Paris, France. A central landmark of the city, it is located on the Right Bank of the Seine in the city’s 1st arrondissement (district or ward). Nearly 35,000 objects from prehistory to the 21st century.
Eiffel Tower
You can visit it day or night. We choose the 10:45 pm night visit with the Eiffel Tower Skip The Line Ticket. You can find out more via this link.
I loved seeing the Eiffel Tower at night all lit up. It was amazing.
The Eiffel Tower is a happening place at all hours of the day and into the night. When we finished our visit, it was midnight, and people were still out and around the tower.
