I recently returned from a trip to Universal Resorts Orlando and I wanted to share a suggested movie list to watch before the trip and a few book suggestions.
Let’s start with a Classic for kids who grew up in the 1980’s – ET
This ride opened in the 1990’s and it’s such a fun classic ride and if you watch the movie beforehand it makes it that much better.
The Harry Potter movies and books.
When visiting Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade you and your kids will love the Harry Potter stuff even more after watching the movies or reading the books.
Here are a few more famous movies and books:
- The Mummy
- King Kong
- Men in Black
- Despicable Me
- The Dr. Seuss movies and books
- Transformers
- The Fast and Furious
- Jurassic Park
If you have younger children reading the Dr. Seuss books and watching the movies before your trip will be fun when they see Seuss Landing where the books come to life.
It’s fun to add to the magic of your vacation with movies and books before the trip begins.
