Who is ready to “celebrate happy” with me?
I am so excited to reveal new details about the 70th anniversary celebration for the Disneyland Resort. This celebration begins May 16, 2025, and will run through Summer 2026. So you have lots of time to visit and celebrate this iconic destination!
There will be limited-time character meet n greets, food, parades, collectible merchandise, and more!
Let’s start with entertainment!
The brand new “World of Color Happiness!” will debut at Disney California Adventure Park and be hosted by Joy and the other Emotions from Inside Out and Inside Out 2. They will lead you through a happy journey featuring some of Disney’s most iconic movies.
Next, we have the return of two favorites at Disneyland Park!
“Paint the Night” parade is back! This parade is beloved by so many Disney guests, and we are very excited to experience it again!
We will also see the return of the “Wondrous Journeys” nighttime spectacular. This show has so many amazing moments, and we are looking forward to seeing Tinkerbell fly again!
The daytime parade “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” will be back at Disney California Adventure Park. This is such a fun celebration of all things Pixar, featuring innovative floats and some of your favorite characters.
One very special new attraction, “Walt Disney—A Magical Life,” will debut at the Main Street Opera House theater at Disneyland Park on May 16, 2025. We are looking forward to learning more about Walt Disney and his life and love for his park.
We also can’t wait to see the park in all its glory, with brand new colorful decorations celebrating this special milestone.
And look at this sneak peek of Mickey and Minnie’s special celebration outfits!
In addition to this special 70th anniversary celebration, there will be lots of fun special events and festivals to enjoy.
