Two years ago, I stumbled upon a gem: the book “101 Places to Visit before You’re 12.” Little did I know, it would ignite a series of unforgettable adventures for my son and me! As a mother, instilling a passion for exploration in my children has been a top priority. We’ve cruised Caribbean islands, beautiful canyons, factories, ancient cities, surreal rock formations, architectural marvels, and beyond!

I always urge my friends not to postpone their travels. Regardless of age, the bond formed between my boys and me during our journeys is indescribable. While some memories may fade with time, the moments we share will forever strengthen our relationship and shape our lives.

But don’t just take my word for it; here are my son’s thoughts on our travels:

My favorite place I have traveled this year: San Francisco.

I am most looking forward to: Alaska!

My favorite part of travel is having fun with your family. You can also see and experience new things. You can see places that you only ever dreamed of.

My favorite place I’ve been to is San Francisco. I like it because there are so many activities to do. First, we went to Alcatraz, an old prison an island 3.2 miles away from San Francisco that is worth visiting. You take a boat to the prison, then you explore for as long as you want.  Then we went to Chinatown- a great place if you’re looking for some food. Chinatown is a place where China immigrants started a town so they could keep their ways and cultures without living in China. Next, there is Ghirardelli chocolate with every type of chocolate imaginable. Last, but not least, there’s Golden Gate bridge. It goes over the water with one of the best views I’ve ever seen.

101 places to be before the 12 is in amazing way to see the world. You never know where the book will take you. It’s a great way to spend time with your family. We figure out places we like to inspire you our next trip!  If you’re wanting to see the world and have fun at the same time, I say do it!

But this isn’t an advertisement for a specific book; it’s simply a reminder to seize the opportunity to take that trip, to embark on those adventures, and to create lasting memories with your loved ones. So, pack your bags, reach out and let us help you make the journey begin! 🌍✈️
