Cruising is beginning to feel like cruising again! What better way to check out the new protocols for our clients than a Caribbean Cruise on the Disney Magic?

Disney’s Magic

I recently hopped on a five-night cruise on the Disney Magic, leaving from Port Miami, and I’m so glad I did. This was my third Disney ship to sail and by far my favorite! There’s something so unique about the Magic. The first of Disney’s fleet, a smaller boat than the new class, allowed a very intimate feel.

Throughout our trip, we experienced short lines for characters, last-minute spa reservations, and first-class treatment from cast members (by the second day, the staff called my son by name from memory when visiting the Oceaneer Club!).

Dining

The Dining had the two most impressive restaurants yet! My son (who’s kidding, and myself) had so much fun designing characters while we waited for our meals dining at Animators Palace. The hands-on interaction was a dream for any parent looking for a fun way to entertain their family while waiting on their meal. My son’s face lit up when he saw his creation moving across the screen later while we ate our meal 🙂 We ended our trip with Rapunzel’s Royal Table. The singing and live entertainment were captivating; by the show’s end, I forgot we were at the dinner table! I loved our wait staff and the attentive service we received. From accommodating my son’s food allergies to serving my coffee preferences without asking, it was a relaxing experience for this momma!

Cruising Post Covid

This sailing was my third cruise post-COVID and the first time I genuinely enjoyed myself onboard! Immediately after embarking, I ran to the kids club to sign up. I was greeted with smiles, and the best part – no pre-booking kid’s times!! We saw proper hand washing implemented, children in or out of masks at their families’ discretion and so many joyful children meeting friends and characters throughout our trip.

We appreciated the extra cleaning measures onboard while still feeling comfortable enjoying ourselves. My three boys ask daily to return, so stick around for our future adventures!
